Climate change is expected to amplify drought conditions in California so using science to better understand the impacts of drought is of great importance to resource managers such as the National Park Service.

Scoping Under Way For Proposal To Resurface Generals Highway Between Sequoia And Kings Canyon National Parks

Public input is being taken through the end of the month by the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service on a plan to resurface more than 17 miles of the Generals Highway which connects Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks in California.
