The rush to get outdoors this year has impacted many areas of the National Park System, and at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming that rush in October nearly doubled visitation for October 2019.

This October saw an estimated 351,173 recreation visits, an 88 percent increase compared to October 2019.

The list below shows the October trend for recreation visits over the last several years:

2020—351,173
2019—186,487
2018—207,534
2017—187,499
2016—186,185
2015—190,681

Visitors to Grand Teton National Park are reminded to plan ahead and recreate responsibly. The park highly encourages visitors to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local and state authorities, by maintaining social distancing guidelines and wearing a face covering when in buildings and high-visitation areas outside.

It is so great that Americans got to enjoy their National Parks this year without the hordes of foreigners invading and over-crowding the Parks as in past years.  Visting and enjoying the National Parks should be a priviledge reserved for US citizens only.

Gosh, Bill Baehr, you seem to be a regular Johnny-one-note with that phony nativist hate thing of yours.  But, if we can't get you to actually change your tune, then maybe we can get you expand, grow, and even it out.  What would you say to going full bore on a real nativist hate thing, Bill?  Come on, Bill, you can do it.  Let's go ahead and reserve the privilege of visiting and enjoying America's National Parks for just "indigenous" US citizens only.  Now, that would be a real nativist thing and there are many of us who could sure get behind that idea!  After all, there's a bunch of us who have been longing to enjoy our National Parks without the hordes of you foreigners invading and over-crowding them.  So, come on, Bill, if you're so proud of your European identity, show it  ...by vacationing in a national park back where you came from  ...and maybe not coming back.

I have no hate for foreigners. I like foreigners  Please, don't lie about me.  United States citizens won by battle or bargained for indegenous lands.  "Indigenous" were not US citizens until granted that citenship by treaty. Your claim that I am of European idenity is false. I am a native American and natural born US citizen.   The moderator should remove your hateful and lying reply.

No.

When every word that comes off of your keyboard personifies xenophobia by  basic definition, no apologies are due.

"Every word that comes off my keyboard ..." That is a lie. You are in need of help.

It's people like Bill Baehr that kinda make me root for China to achieve global dominance. It would be funny to hear their talk about taking over things "by battle" when someone stronger than us comes knocking.

I've found that rarely do those whoi brag about taking things "by battle" have military experience.

I stated at fact about the US Citizens taking Indian land by battle.  I did not say that I agreed with it or brag about doing it.  Please, read carefully and do not read into my posts things that aren't there.  I am trying to have a decent arguement.
