Glacier National Park Releases 2014 Schedule For Concessions Operations

The 2014 operating dates for concessioners within Glacier National Park are scheduled. These concessioners, who work under contract within Glacier National Park, provide visitor services including lodging, food service, retail shops, tours, transportation, horseback riding, guided day hikes and backpacking trips, boat tours and small boat rentals. Services are listed in alphabetical order.

The Glacier Skywalk Is Open At Jasper National Park In Alberta

Now visitors have a dramatic new way to view Jasper National Park in western Alberta. The Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform cantilevered more 900 feet above the Sunwapta Valley floor, opened to visitors on May 1. It is the newest attraction along the Icefields Parkway linking the Jasper and Banff townsites.
